This Sunday, May 8th teammates, coaches, family and friends of Adam Puvalowski will come together to play in a memorial soccer game.

Puvalowski was a Saginaw Nouvel high school senior when he was tragically killed in a car accident May 1, 2010. A star soccer player who planned on continuing his soccer career at Saginaw Valley State University, Puvalowski played with his high school soccer team and Vardar Academy travel team at the national level.

The Adam Puvalowski 2nd Annual Soccer Game is a memorial event with the goal of raising money for a scholarship fund in Puvalowski’s name, while also promoting safe teen driving. The scholarship will go to a high school senior soccer player.

“Last year’s soccer game was such a meaningful tribute to honor our friend,” said Adam Scharich, teammate and classmate of Puvalowski. “This year we look forward to celebrating Puv’s life while raising money for a great cause.”

The event is Sunday, May 8th, 2011 at the Saginaw Township Soccer Complex and will begin at 6:00 pm, with kick off at 6:30 pm. Entrance is by donation only, there will be door prizes, a bake sale and a half time "money shot" game with a chance to win $5,000.

Please contact Adam Scharich at 989-233-4228 or ap4memorial[at]gmail.com for more information, or to make a donation to the Adam Puvalowski Memorial Fund.
