Creative 360’s BlackBox 180 Dinner Theatre returns with a two-night
engagement of The Vagina Monologues on Friday, February 11 and Saturday, February
12. Both shows begin at 8:00 pm. The cast includes Denyse Clayton, Debbie Lake,
Susie Polito, Marci Rogers and Carol Rumba.
Eve Ensler’s Obie Award-winning tour of a forbidden zone, introduces a wildly
divergent gathering of female voices, including a six-year-old girl, a septuagenarian
New Yorker, a vagina workshop participant, a woman who witnesses the birth of her
granddaughter, a Bosnian survivor of rape, and a feminist happy to have found a man
who “liked to look at it.”
The Vagina Monologues is frequently performed during February, March and April to
benefit organizations working to end violence against women and girls. A portion of
the proceeds of the February 11 and 12 performances will be donated to
Shelterhouse, a non-profit serving Midland and Gladwin counties that is committed to
providing safety, shelter, advocacy and counseling to survivors of domestic violence
and sexual assault.
Creative 360 (formerly Creative Spirit Center) is located at 1517 Bayliss in Midland.
Shows are Friday, February 11 at 8:00pm and Saturday, February 12 at 8:00pm. Tickets are $26/$23 members and includes dinner (A selection of soups and salad provided by

Creative 360 is a not-for-profit community arts and wellness organization. The
organization incorporated in 1994 as Creative Spirit Center and began offering
programs in fall of 1995. The center’s mission is help people of all ages to experience
the creative process through ongoing classes, art exhibits, events, concerts, speakers
and outreach programs; and its goal is to enhance the development of physical,
mental and spiritual wellness through the arts and humanities.
