The final days of July brought hundreds to Hamilton street in Old Town Saginaw for the 10th annual Altered Skin Revolution, a two-day street festival featuring 22 local and national bands, a tattoo art contest, pin-up girl contest, and the return of the suspension show, a gruesome spectacle involving lifting a person off the ground with hooks that have been embedded into their skin. All proceeds to the block party were donated to the Old Town Saginaw Christian Outreach Center, to help operating costs of their food bank and soup kitchen.
