On Monday, January 11th, Brett Mitchell and the giant GHOST will be playing at Bay City's Bemo's. And while this fact alone is nothing unusual for the band, Monday night will be a little different from their usual shows.  Cue cameras.  And rolling.

After hearing about a great opportunity through Sonicbids, a business that connects musicians with promoters, venues and opportunities, Brett Mitchell submitted his music video "Born Too Late" to a competition sponsored by Live Music Media and HomeGrown Music TV.  The video was aired on HomeGrown Music TV, and viewers voted to select their favorite. Mitchell's video took top prize and he was selected as May 2009's artist of the month.   A second vote took place to select "The Best of HomeGrown," and once again, Mitchell took top honors.  The prize for being named "The Best of HomeGrown" is a half hour show devoted exclusively to the winner's music, which brings us to Monday.

Aaron Deckrow from Captured Productions will be filming Monday's show. The footage will be edited by Jamie Walton and then sent to Live Media Music in Long Island, New York where it will air on HomeGrown Music TV.  Brett Mitchell and the giant GHOST, comprised of Rick Manges, Bill Hall, and Mike Cramton, are hoping to see their fans at Bemo's in full force. Though there is no guarantee that fans will make it on TV, the cameras should guarantee a great, high energy show from the band.

The show takes place, Monday, January 11th, 9pm, at Bemo's, 701 S. Madison, Bay City. For more information on Brett Mitchell, visit You can watch his video "Born Too Late" here, and see the promo for HomeGrown TV's Brett Mitchell feature here. The episode will air on January 31st.
