Roethke+Prize+Winner+David+Barker

David Barker is the winner of the Roethke Prize, a triennual award sponsored by the SVSU Board of Fellows given for a book published in the previous three years which has made an important contribution to American poetry. Barker's title Never-Ending Birds earned him this honor.

Tuesday, November 15: Guided tour of Saginaw and Roethke House (departs from 1st Floor SVSU Library) 10:00 am – 2:00 pm – $30.00 (reservations through OLLI)

Tuesday, November 15: Roethke Prize Presentation – Rhea Miller Recital Hall/ Curtiss Hall - 7:00 pm – no charge

Wednesday, November 16 - Concert - First Presbyterian Church, Bay City – 7:30 pm -–no charge
